The Zenovia lies on starboard at a maximum depth of 42 metres and
the top rail of the wreck is at 18 metres.
The Zenovia ,a swedish RO-RO ferry, was on her maiden voyage
from Malmo to Syria . Offshore of Cyprus the ship began to list with
a design fault in its buoyancy tanks. Whilst under tow all passengers
and crew were safely evacuated and on the 7th. June 1980 the ship
allowed to sink off Larnaca harbour with her cargo of over 100
trucks.

The Scandidve Centre offers a special excursion
dive trip to the Zenobia on several days each
week. The trip comprises of transport from the
dive centre to Larnaca, a boat out to the wreck
and a dive to the wreck itself. On surfacing and
after a suitable respite a second dive is made. On
return to the surface a hot meal is provided, then
return to shore and back to the dive centre
